Your view on beauty?
My idea of beauty has had a ‘paradigm shift’ over the years. It has transformed from the dazzling and/or one’s mere external appearance to how you feel in harmony with yourself. I strongly feel a person is beautiful in the way they behave with others. Most important — having a kind heart and soul is far more beautiful than anything else.
Your ‘take’ on fitness?
Fitness, for me, is being yourself. It also corresponds to a healthy lifestyle, driven by discipline and self-control. Waking up early, walking, drinking plenty of water through the day, and eating healthy greens, among other things, also help in keeping oneself fit. The best part is: fitness should augment your ability to doing your job and improving your defence to stress and/or coping with it well, while being at peace with the person you truly are.
Your view of health and wellness?
“The first wealth,” as Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “is health.” Add to it a well-balanced diet, regular exercise, and having your favourite healthy foods ought to be one’s priority to keeping illness at bay — to the best extent possible.
Your ‘take’ on work -life balance?
You ought to work hard and with dedication in everything you do. You should also give adequate time for rest and fun — with family and friends. Remember the good, old adage: ‘All work, and no play makes Jack a dull boy.’ Work is important, doubtless, but you should not neglect family and friends in the process. I’m committed to maintaining my own work-life ‘prescription’ by spending quality time with people who matter the most to me — my family, friends and clients who approach me for my pranic healing sessions.
Your mantra to beat stress?
Take each day as a blessing. Also, think that there are no mistakes in life and learn to making oneself a better individual at every step of the journey. Sleep is fundamental to our well-being. You ought to allocate adequate time to ‘shutting your eye’ to beating stress. This will help you to dealing with everyday tensions better, besides clearing your mind from the clutter, resting and repairing your muscles, and regenerating your body cells. Put simply, a good night’s sleep helps you to stay healthy and also active all through the day.
