22nd National Homeopathic Congress

The 22nd All-India Homeopathic Congress was organised by Homeopathic Medical Association of India [HMAI], Delhi Branch, last month, at Hotel Hyatt Centric, New Delhi. Over 800 doctors from across the country participated in the two-day event.

The theme of the event was ‘3Hs with Homeopathy: Health, Happiness and Harmony.’

The programme started after lighting the traditional lamp, followed by presentation of bouquet of flowers to the dignitaries by members of HMAI, Delhi. Mr Amitendra Nath Sinha, IPS [IG-CRPF], Dr Sudipta Narayan Roy [Chairman, ASSOCHAM-National AYUSH Task Force], Dr Subhash Kaushik [DG-CCRH], and Prof/Dr Subhas Singh [Director, National Institute of Homeopathy] were the Guests of Honour. A Souvenir for the Year 2023 was launched, along with other books, by B Jain Publishers Pvt Ltd. The London School of Homeopathy and Bakson Group were the Platinum sponsors, and B Jain the Gold Sponsors of the event.

Dr A K Gupta, President HMAI, Delhi, informed that around 60 renowned doctors from India shared their research papers and experience. There were 14 scientific sessions in three parallel halls, along with integrative sessions on gastroenterology, neurology and oncology. There were also discussions on mental health, cancer management, iatrogenic, autoimmune and geriatric disorders, scientific advancements, roadmaps to educational advance, clinical research and development in homeopathy.

The HMAI Delhi team made the event a huge success. As Dr Bharti Arora put it, “Being a part of such a massive undertaking, alongside esteemed colleagues, was humbling and invigorating. The energy was palpable. There were workshops brimming with knowledge sharing, insightful guest lectures, and lively panel discussions that delved into the frontiers of homeopathic research and clinical practice.” Dr Saurav Arora articulated, “To see practitioners from diverse backgrounds come together, united by their commitment to homeopathy, was truly heartening. It reaffirmed our belief in the power of collaboration and the collective responsibility we all share in advancing this unique healthcare system. The Congress wasn’t just about scholarly discourse; it was a vibrant tapestry woven with cultural performances, networking opportunities, and a renewed sense of community. The enthusiasm of young homeopaths, the wisdom of veterans, and the dedication of everyone involved resonated through the two-day event.”
